Google Error when connected to VPN?

Updated on: 2017-08-20 10:58:01 UTC

Introduction

There are a few scenarios when you get Google Error after establishing a connection to the VPN. There are few possible reasons due to which you can get such error. In this guide, we will discuss the error message and the reason behind this.

Google Error when connected to VPN

In some cases, you may receive an error when using Google services, such as:

  1. Our system has detected unusual traffic from your computer network.
  2. We’re Sorry … but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can’t process your request right now.

These messages are not unexpected as when connected to VPN we use shared IP space to add anonymity and hundreds of people can be connected through a single IP address at a time.

A VPN is a technology that hides one's real IP address and encrypts all the incoming and outgoing data while using the Internet. In this way, the user gets anonymity and safety.

SaferVPN allows you to connect to more than 400 servers in 30+ countries across the globe and get the possibility to use remote network resources as though you are there. Simply install SaferVPN Software, enter your SaferVPN Username and Password and click the connect button.

Why Google sends an Error message

The reason is quite simple, what happens is that Google detects access of too many Google accounts (different)  occurring through a single IP address, and they lock out access for a time believing it could be an attempt to evade their security. The lockout normally lasts for 12 hours or so. It is recommended to reconnect to the server to get a new IP address. You may also want to try connecting to a different server if that is not successful.
