Introduction

SaferVPN is designed to help you use the internet privately and securely. SaferVPN has a full Privacy Policy which explains how we collect and use data from SaferVPN services. This includes how we handle all your personal data, including your general account information (such as registration and payment details). For some customers, the most important aspect of this is how we handle the data created when you use our VPN, which is set out here.

When you use SaferVPN service the only data we collect from you (“VPN Data”) which is as follows:

  1. A time stamp of the time you connect and disconnect to our VPN service.
  2. The amount of data transmitted (upload and download) during your session.

We DO NOT store details of, or monitor, the websites you connect to or any of the data sent over our network when using our VPN service.

We collect this data for the operation of our business because we need to:

  1. Monitor the use of our network for technical purposes and to manage our service.
  2. Prevent and detect fraud against our service (e.g. credit card fraud).
  3. Prevent and detect abuse of our network, such spamming, file sharing or other illicit activity.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
